Gyepüpataka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Radomiak Radom the free kick. The supporters of Radomiak Radom booed when Gyepüpataka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Jupân didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Rzeszutek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Pirlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Mahonea in the 10th minute of the match. Radomiak Radom's Andrea Pirlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Şuplăcan in the 12th minute of play. Emil Rzeszutek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Petrică Vorniceanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Witomir Zapolski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. The referee gave Gyepüpataka a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iacob Mahonea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Radomiak Radom's Andrea Pirlo. 0-1. In the 24th minute, Mihnea Şuplăcan made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Pirlo. Radomiak Radom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 26th minute, Ovidiu Minteuan made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Pirlo. Andrea Pirlo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Emil Rzeszutek came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Radomiak Radom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Rzeszutek couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Emil Rzeszutek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petrică Vorniceanu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Emil Rzeszutek sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Gyepüpataka were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihnea Şuplăcan made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihnea Şuplăcan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrea Pirlo. That made the score 0-7 in the 54 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Emil Rzeszutek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Tomasz Hajto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petrică Vorniceanu came out of the goal and Dawid Parajewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emil Rzeszutek fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Radomiak Radom's protests and gave Emil Rzeszutek a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Rzeszutek kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
