Patricio Salamon charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Roberto Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes, MarquinhosEC's Alfredo Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roberto Arotza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MarquinhosEC reached it. After a rather tough play, Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Simon Leobardo got a free kick in the 46th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Arotza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Salamon to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Gil in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Varela saved MarquinhosEC from getting behind. A collision led to Lε COCO SρσяtiV getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Amador Aires hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, MarquinhosEC's Alfredo Loyola tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Albino Gil struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Clemente Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lε COCO SρσяtiV. Roberto Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Carioca in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Enzo Enol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MarquinhosEC's Célio Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
