An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Gil in the 5th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Marciano Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Patricio Salamon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Blanco. Deportivo Pucho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Salamon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Raul Brion hit a great ball. Patricio Salamon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Marciano Blanco made a huge save. If Patricio Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Tiniebra in the 30th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Patricio Salamon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pucho's Marciano Blanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th match minute, Deportivo Pucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Librado to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Patricio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Blanco having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Checa made a kick off. Celedonio Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lε COCO SρσяtiV made a substitution. Nunez Martinez replaced Albino Gil. After 57 played minutes Deportivo Pucho got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Paz. Zeledon Cesario's late challenge caught a Lε COCO SρσяtiV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Cesario helped the player get up and apologised. Zeledon Cesario hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Deportivo Pucho got a freekick which was hit by Raul Brion. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jaime Tallia hit a great ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Patricio Salamon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pucho's Marciano Blanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marciano Blanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Salamon's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Deportivo Pucho's Marciano Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Salamon in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patricio Salamon in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Blanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Aires charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amador Aires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Rogelio Cordarrel from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Roberto Arotza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 83rd match minute, Lε COCO SρσяtiV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Llin to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Checa took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Arotza. Roberto Arotza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Deportivo Pucho's Marciano Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Tiniebra in the 91st minute of play. Marciano Blanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Salamon went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Deportivo Pucho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
