Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Simon Rameriz got the match started through his kick off. Nicasio Quinton charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Quinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicasio Quinton hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Librado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Paulo Arnau in the 7th minute really tested Marciano Blanco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 8 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Domiku. In the 12th minute Simon Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Muc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Checa went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pucho's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Rameriz came free, but Marciano Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Simon Rameriz made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Blanco. Deportivo Pucho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Ramiro Funes Mori got a free kick in the 36th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Checa was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Cesario got free with Prospero Muc in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maravilla's Prospero Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Brion in the 55th minute of play. Nemesio Damario hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Simon Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marciano Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Simon Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Rameriz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Tomás Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Rameriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marciano Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tiburcio Domiku was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The Maravilla players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
