Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Gualterio Estebano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Anastasio Diegotxe's late challenge caught a Sporting de Gijón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Diegotxe helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Egoitz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Gipuzkoa during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, PLASNIKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Gualterio Estebano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apolo Herrera. The goal made the score 1-0. Anastasio Diegotxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Herrera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Primitivo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Anastasio Diegotxe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Apolo Herrera 13 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Diegotxe in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Apolo Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Diegotxe in the 18th minute of play. If Gualterio Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Diegotxe in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Herrera saved Sporting de Gijón from getting behind. When Ariel Urbasa fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting de Gijón's protests and gave Ariel Urbasa a yellow card for diving instead. Ariel Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ricardo Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Apolo Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PLASNIKE's Nicanor Odilon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. PLASNIKE's Vladimiro Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Galindo in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting de Gijón's zone, Anastasio Diegotxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Herrera came out of the goal and Anastasio Diegotxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. PLASNIKE's Gualterio Estebano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Apolo Herrera but with some difficulty. In the 46th minute, PLASNIKE's Anastasio Diegotxe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0.

The wind increased when Arnoldo Ubarna made the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Diegotxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to PLASNIKE getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bonifacio Gipuzkoa hit a great ball. PLASNIKE's Vladimiro Egoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save PLASNIKE from getting a goal against them. Sporting de Gijón's Teodoro Niva was substituted for Kevin Zenón. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when PLASNIKE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Balendin tried in the game's 70th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Vladimiro Egoitz. An annoying self made goal, 4-2. If Gualterio Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Anastasio Diegotxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PLASNIKE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Diegotxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Arnoldo Ubarna's shot from long distance in the 79th minute was not bad at all, but PLASNIKE's Vladimiro Egoitz knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a rather tough play, PLASNIKE's Nicanor Odilon got a free kick in the 84th minute. PLASNIKE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Angelo Bertin scored to the left of an out of position Vladimiro Egoitz, making the score, 4-3. Angelo Bertin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimiro Egoitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelo Bertin slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 93rd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
