After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Lúcio Dionísio got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute Xerardo Barriga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerardo Barriga in the 12th minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper João Carlos Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Xerardo Barriga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Lino Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yoel Bulnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but João Carlos Oliveira made a huge save. Moncho Tomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Zonta in the 37th minute of the match. Xerardo Barriga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Oliveira having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Xerardo Barriga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cipriano Nascimento hit a great ball. João Carlos Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Baz in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Lino Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moncho Tomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Freixes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Freixes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when Real Quemado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Freixes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Freixes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Aílton Neiva from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Moncho Tomas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 74th minute Xerardo Barriga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Lino Zonta. Aílton Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Lino Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moncho Tomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Ismael Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ROSÁRIO SPORT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
