An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Sedeni in the 17th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Luis Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulo Dybala fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Jorge Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Cheche having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Mac Allister came free, but Adrian Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
