When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Adrianinho Ortiz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adrian Lucila to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when Pretorianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pretorianos FC's Adrian Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Ortiz in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Moraes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when Pretorianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caatiba MZC's Rodolfo Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Sedeni in the 32nd minute of play. Adrian Lucila made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Adrianinho Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Ortiz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pretorianos FC's Adrian Lucila. Adrian Lucila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Adrianinho Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Lucila was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. A collision led to Pretorianos FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. David Transito hit a great ball. When Dinei Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caatiba MZC's protests and gave Dinei Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Caatiba MZC got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Moraes. After a defensive mix-up in Caatiba MZC's zone, Clemente Min stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Quirino came out of the goal and Clemente Min tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pretorianos FC's Clemente Min in the 61st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rodolfo Quirino was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Caatiba MZC through an amazing save. Pedro Estevon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Dinei Moraes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pretorianos FC's Adrian Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Ortiz in the 67th minute of play. Adrian Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pretorianos FC's zone, Benedito Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Lucila came out of the goal and Benedito Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Eusébio Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Lucila having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Pretorianos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Gamus to maneuver through the defense.
