Luis Cheche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gutierre Avina, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cleto Abascal struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Elpidio Arbizu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones Futbol Club. With an all-out effort, Leones Futbol Club's Elpidio Arbizu threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexis Mac Allister, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 45 minutes into the game, Gutierre Avina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1.
