Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Adrianinho Ortiz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Matorin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Patricio Salazano charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Salazano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Patricio Salazano got a free kick in the 14th minute. Rodolfo Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inautzi Abreu in the 19th minute of play. Caatiba MZC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Inautzi Abreu scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Quirino, making the score, 1-0. Adrianinho Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Arbizu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Pudes Bachiller made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Salazano got free with Rodolfo Quirino in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Arbizu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laerte da Silva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Domingues in the 60th minute of play forced Oylimpiamos Ψ's goalkeeper Elpidio Arbizu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caatiba MZC's zone, Inautzi Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Quirino came out of the goal and Inautzi Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kusko Bernabeytia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pudes Bachiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dinei Moraes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Caatiba MZC's Adrianinho Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gutierre Avina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pudes Bachiller in the 74th minute of the match. Rodolfo Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pudes Bachiller in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Laerte da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caatiba MZC and the Oylimpiamos Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Laerte da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Gutierre Avina came free, but Rodolfo Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Arbizu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrianinho Ortiz in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Caatiba MZC defense, Inautzi Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Quirino. The Caatiba MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Quirino should have stopped the shot. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Inautzi Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kusko Bernabeytia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oylimpiamos Ψ had won after a very even match.
