In the 5th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Seco in the 15th minute of play forced NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Patrick Almkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Erling Hellkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Carlos Oliveira. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 21st minute, NovaStella FK's Sven-Åke Hellström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Carlos Oliveira. João Carlos Oliveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 25 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Sven Kilström. NovaStella FK's Anton Bergren got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ROSÁRIO SPORT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Erling Hellkvist scored to the left of an out of position João Carlos Oliveira, making the score, 3-0. ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Carlos Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save ROSÁRIO SPORT from getting a goal against them. When João Paulo Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ROSÁRIO SPORT's protests and gave João Paulo Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, João Paulo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th play minute Anton Bergren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Carlos Oliveira. 4-0. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Ismael Seco got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Åke Hellström to strike the kick off in the second half. ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Carlos Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Holmberg in the 55th minute of play. João Carlos Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Åke Hellström went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Aílton Neiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Patrick Almkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Bergren to maneuver through the defense. Anton Bergren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Hellkvist in the 68th minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper João Carlos Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the ROSÁRIO SPORT defense, Erling Hellkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Oliveira. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Oliveira should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Erling Hellkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. João Carlos Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Kilström in the 96th minute of the match.
