In the 9th minute, Horacio Belmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Laerte da Silva got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Benedito Domingues notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Super Chechona FC's Baldomero Florinio. Baldomero Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edson de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Florinio having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Laerte da Silva notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Super Chechona FC's Baldomero Florinio. Baldomero Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Domingues in the 24th minute of play forced Super Chechona FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caatiba MZC's Rodolfo Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Caatiba MZC from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Florinio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laerte da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte da Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Guaberto Guifre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Quirino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Super Chechona FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Florinio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedito Domingues. In the 66th minute, Adrianinho Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Florinio. Super Chechona FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The supporters of Super Chechona FC booed when Caatiba MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Matorin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Florinio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Super Chechona FC got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Guifre. Adrianinho Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Baldomero Florinio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Edson de Mendonça got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Ladislao Rutenio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Chechona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Rutenio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Rutenio scored 2-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caatiba MZC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
