The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. XMAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Dracul Medellín the free kick. In the 10thth minute of the game Ennio De Nardis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Dracul Medellín's Tercero Arriete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. XMAS's Bruno Alessandrini got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Casiraghi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Tercero Arriete made a huge save. Tercero Arriete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio De Nardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ennio De Nardis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Tercero Arriete when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
