In the 5thth minute of the game Freddy Blakewell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volvimos mejores's Atilano Lia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Bernabe Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conan Worth. Clapham Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Bernabe Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Osmond. In the 18th minute, Leonel Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glenn Osmond got free with Atilano Lia in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Osmond to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Cordaro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Clapham Rovers's Marty Child got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when Volvimos mejores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes, Ruperto Sidoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volvimos mejores and the Clapham Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when Volvimos mejores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Volvimos mejores's goalkeeper Atilano Lia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Blakewell. When Freddy Blakewell got free in front of the goal in the 35th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Atilano Lia was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Bernabe Batista put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Conan Worth. In the 41st minute, Vinnie Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volvimos mejores's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marty Child 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The Clapham Rovers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Volvimos mejores were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Batista was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Leo Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conan Worth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Batista in the 54th minute of the match. With his leg Conan Worth managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Volvimos mejores's Bernabe Batista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 60 minutes into the game, Leonel Ortzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Volvimos mejores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham Rovers the free kick. In the 60th minute, Leonel Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sly Baker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabe Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Worth having to interfere. Bernabe Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Conan Worth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conan Worth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Batista's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The Volvimos mejores fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Volvimos mejores's Bernabe Batista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Batista in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conan Worth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glenn Osmond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Volvimos mejores's zone, Freddy Blakewell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Lia came out of the goal and Freddy Blakewell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Batista had several of the Clapham Rovers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Conan Worth as he didn't even see the shot coming.
