If Ciriaco Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Relyn Futebol Clube defense, Diego Armando Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Vieira. In the 90th minute Diego Armando Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucas Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Relyn Futebol Clube's protests and gave Lucas Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead.
