Arne Van Brusselen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute Fausto Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Van Brusselen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucas Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Relyn Futebol Clube's protests and gave Lucas Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. Giles Verduin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Juan Vieira made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Henri-Xavier Justus got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arne Van Brusselen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Stefan Lambrechs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fauna Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Relyn Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Lambrechs to maneuver through the defense. In the 47thth minute of the game Arthur Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fauna Utd's Arne Van Brusselen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Relyn Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Davi Couto in the 48th minute. A nice corner shot did that Davi Couto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arne Van Brusselen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The crowd rose to their feet as Fausto Valladares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arne Van Brusselen. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Fauna Utd's Arne Van Brusselen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Fauna Utd from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Yannis Candries came free, but Juan Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Arne Van Brusselen made a huge save.
