Bruno Alessandrini kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game, Pablo Pes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Eugenio Casiraghi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Pablo Pes made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Eboli. XMAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ennio De Nardis to strike the kick off in the second half.
