Eilert Bjørgo was slow to take the kick. During this time FRANK's players had a chance to rest. FRANK's Sam Brorsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FRANK from getting a goal against them. After 14 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Guga Nóbrega. Proteu were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after FRANK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maicon Branco took the corner. When Gonçalo Lago, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sam Brorsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. FRANK's Sam Brorsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FRANK from getting a goal against them. Maicon Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Brorsson having to interfere. In the 26th minute, FRANK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dida Dantas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Sindre Evje came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FRANK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sindre Evje couldn't finish the play. Maicon Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, Maicon Branco made a precise shot to the right of Sam Brorsson. FRANK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Dida Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Proteu's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Brorsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 59th minute Dida Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Brorsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Brorsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Velloso in the 60th minute of play. Preben Fonnes's late challenge caught a Proteu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Preben Fonnes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, FRANK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Preben Fonnes to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes, Maicon Branco made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. FRANK's Sam Brorsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Preben Fonnes hit a great ball. When Proteu's Maicon Branco in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sander Roen thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sam Brorsson, a very annoying self made goal in the 78th minute which led to 4-1. After 82 played minutes FRANK got a freekick which was hit by Preben Fonnes. FRANK's Sam Brorsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Branco in the 84th minute of play. Sindre Evje hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Proteu's Evandro Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Proteu from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Proteu booed when FRANK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Kasin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Brorsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Dantas in the 91st minute of play. Proteu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
