After 5 minutes of play, Laziali's Naum Mentov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evandro Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laziali's Doncho Tzvetkov got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Milen Kaydzhiev hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The long shot by Antônio Brito in the 12th minute really tested Radomir Gazenov's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 14 played minutes Laziali got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Groshkov. After 23 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Seco. A collision led to Proteu getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Geovani Velloso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doncho Tzvetkov in the 29th minute of play forced Proteu's goalkeeper Evandro Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Naum Mentov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Laziali's Svetlin Traychev got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Maicon Branco scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomir Gazenov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Doncho Tzvetkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laziali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Maicon Branco sped through Laziali's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radomir Gazenov. 45 minutes into the match, Maicon Branco notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Laziali's Radomir Gazenov. Radomir Gazenov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naum Mentov to strike the kick off in the second half. Doncho Tzvetkov struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Evandro Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laziali. Radomir Gazenov came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Proteu's Maicon Branco. But to his dismay, Maicon Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo Ferraz during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Ferraz. Evandro Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doncho Tzvetkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Maicon Branco made it 5-3 with a short kick to the right side. Laziali's Radomir Gazenov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Branco in the 69th minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Radomir Gazenov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Velloso took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomir Gazenov. Radomir Gazenov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. After a rather tough play, Proteu's Waldemar Cordeiro got a free kick in the 77th minute. Luís Eduardo Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Zlatko Hasin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Proteu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
