After 11 played minutes, Guará FC's Oscar de Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radomir Gazenov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guará FC reached it. Radomir Gazenov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Luz in the 12th minute of the match. During the 13th minute of the match Zlatko Hasin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zlatko Hasin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 13th minute, Zlatko Hasin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Laziali booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guará FC's zone, Plamen Hadzhiyanev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Mendonça came out of the goal and Plamen Hadzhiyanev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Laziali's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Matorin came free, but Radomir Gazenov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Olavo Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laziali's Radomir Gazenov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Luz in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes Laziali's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar de Andrade who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Oscar de Andrade almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laziali's Radomir Gazenov did a great save. Olavo Luz took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomir Gazenov. Radomir Gazenov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luiz Fábio Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fábio Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luiz Fábio Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Laziali players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guará FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Plamen Hadzhiyanev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Plamen Hadzhiyanev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomir Gazenov made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Thiago Matorin sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Radomir Gazenov made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Radomir Gazenov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Plamen Hadzhiyanev came free, but Célio Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laziali's Radomir Gazenov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Laziali from getting a goal against them. Guará FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
