Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Pedro de Sena took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luciano de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Tepedino in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho de Lima in the 7th minute of play forced OSASCO FC's goalkeeper Luciano de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Arce's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Arce helped the player get up and apologised. João Francisco Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Sidney Schmidt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano de Carvalho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Dráuzio Tepedino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano de Carvalho was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Caco Rossi took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luciano de Carvalho. Luciano de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When João Pedro de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the OSASCO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro de Sena couldn't finish the play. After 20 minutes, Wilson Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montesclarense E.C. and the OSASCO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Wilson Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Didi Nóbrega shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Monteiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Didi Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro de Sena in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Amaral to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to OSASCO FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cristian Teixeira hit a great ball. Luiz Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro de Sena's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. João Pedro de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Monteiro having to interfere. João Pedro de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Caco Rossi made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Amaral hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Nóbrega in the 54th minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Rossi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When OSASCO FC's João Pedro de Sena in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montesclarense E.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Didi Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Monteiro came out of the goal and Didi Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-1 when João Pedro de Sena sped through Montesclarense E.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Monteiro. 87 minutes into the match, OSASCO FC's João Francisco Arce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raúl Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game João Pedro de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, OSASCO FC's Zeca Freire got a free kick in the 93rd minute. OSASCO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
