Luciano de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 6th minute. Víktor Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Nóbrega in the 8th minute of play. Luciano de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doni Senna in the 9th minute. Luciano de Carvalho was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Doni Senna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Doni Senna really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Doni Senna scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luciano de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Valadares's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Edson Mendes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Doni Senna's late challenge caught a OSASCO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doni Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Doni Senna. Edson Mendes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Motta came free, but Víktor Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivedos's Víktor Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro de Sena in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute João Francisco Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Nóbrega in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Pedro de Sena was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Antônio Carlos Valadares made a precise shot to the right of Luciano de Carvalho. OSASCO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 60th minute, Edson Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Víktor Mineiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Mendes in the 86th minute of play forced OSASCO FC's goalkeeper Luciano de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Mineiro made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Didi Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. The Olivedos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
