Everardo Libertad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gerardo Clis made a huge save. After 11 played minutes TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Florin. Esteve Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Hilario Laffitte got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Eustacio Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Soflov FC's Baldomero Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 18th minute. Baldomero Jaunzuria charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Jaunzuria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomero Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jimeno Chinto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Isaias Eztebe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucio Lesardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Esteve Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Clis made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Everardo Libertad sent off a good shot on target. Lucio Lesardo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Soflov FC's Baldomero Jaunzuria. But to his dismay, Baldomero Jaunzuria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Everardo Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Libertad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Clis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerardo Clis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Albino Herauso struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gerardo Clis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB. After 42 minutes, Gilberto Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soflov FC and the TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Felix Luke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerardo Clis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilario Laffitte made a kick off. Everardo Libertad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gerardo Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 1-2 became the score in the 60th minute when Esteve Cutberto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Laffitte in the 65th minute of play forced Soflov FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Lucio Lesardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Soflov FC's Esteve Cutberto in the 78th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Lucio Lesardo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB through an amazing save. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Lucio Lesardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Cutberto in the 82nd minute of play. Gerardo Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Baldomero Jaunzuria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Lucio Lesardo made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Nicanor Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Everardo Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Laffitte in the 92nd minute of play forced Soflov FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Soflov FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB had held the ball for most of the match.
