Albino Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Víktor Mineiro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 8th minute of play forced TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Lucio Lesardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Albino Herauso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Ixidor in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silverio Sandaili kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lucio Lesardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Hilario Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Mineiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Ixidor in the 22nd minute. Olivedos's Víktor Mineiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Paulo Renato Galvão got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes, Doni Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivedos and the TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Senna to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Senna came free, but Lucio Lesardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pascual Eskuin fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Pascual Eskuin a yellow card for diving instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Abel Reis put in a rough tackle. In the 46th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Reis to maneuver through the defense. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Felix Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Albino Herauso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Olivedos's Víktor Mineiro. Víktor Mineiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jimeno Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Hilario Laffitte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Víktor Mineiro. Olivedos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Laffitte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Víktor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Herauso in the 72nd minute of the match. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Lucio Lesardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. Albertinho Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Ixidor in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Ixidor in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víktor Mineiro saved Olivedos from getting behind. 96 minutes into the game, Albertinho Cavalcante recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucio Lesardo. Albertinho Cavalcante showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olivedos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
