Spectators: 7564 (Terracing: 5674, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelio Bombardeiro started the match with the kick off. Toader Apăvăloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Trindade having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Crașovan came free, but Ivan Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Esquadrão Lusitano from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Sorin Năsturel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sorin Năsturel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Sorin Năsturel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champions Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Esquadrão Lusitano from getting a goal against them. Ivan Trindade was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sorin Năsturel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play.

George Vâlcu's late challenge caught a Esquadrão Lusitano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Vâlcu helped the player get up and apologised. George Vâlcu hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After 53 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's Manole Crașovan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Trindade was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Manole Crașovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Setúbal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, George Vâlcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Champions Iasi's supporters rose to their feet, but George Vâlcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Vâlcu in the 74th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Ivan Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Esquadrão Lusitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelio Bombardeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Gigel Chesaru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Trindade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 minutes, Manole Crașovan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the Esquadrão Lusitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Manole Crașovan hit a great ball. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rădvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Vâlcu in the 94th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Ivan Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
