Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kauã Lira started the match with the kick off. Kauã Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zlatin Baldev having to interfere. In the 13th minute, César Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futbol Club RRFV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th minute Dorival do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zlatin Baldev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Futbol Club RRFV's Tiaguinho Lucas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zlatin Baldev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zlatin Baldev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasil Shterionov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Simão having to interfere. Igor Pisarski struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Hamílton Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botev Plovdiv 1912. Zlatin Baldev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauã Lira in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zlatin Baldev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Gabriel Vanov got a free kick in the 38th minute. Zlatin Baldev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Pombal in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Esteves came free, but Zlatin Baldev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Botev Plovdiv 1912 defense, Zé Paulo Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zlatin Baldev. The Botev Plovdiv 1912 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zlatin Baldev should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dafin Pastirov made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's Kauã Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zlatin Baldev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Velcho Botzov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Noel Pombal. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Igor Pisarski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Futbol Club RRFV. Dorival do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zlatin Baldev having to interfere. Futbol Club RRFV's Hamílton Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dafin Pastirov in the 71st minute of play. Noel Pombal hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Vasil Shterionov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Velcho Botzov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botev Plovdiv 1912 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Hamílton Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velcho Botzov in the 84th minute of play. Zé Paulo Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zlatin Baldev having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Darin Ermenkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorival do Vale came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zlatin Baldev could save by the left post. The Futbol Club RRFV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Futbol Club RRFV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
