Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Champions Iasi's Manole Crașovan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 minutes, Manole Crașovan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Yavor Zehirov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manole Crașovan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Yavor Zehirov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Champions Iasi's Manole Crașovan in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yavor Zehirov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mădălin Pascu. Sorin Năsturel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidiu Bojin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dafin Pastirov in the 26th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Champions Iasi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Champions Iasi:s Ovidiu Bojin showed great skill when he stopped Dafin Pastirov:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Năsturel in the 30th minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Yavor Zehirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Vanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ovidiu Bojin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dafin Pastirov in the 56th minute. After 69 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rădvan. The attack was good, but when Sorin Năsturel in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vasil Shterionov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ovidiu Bojin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Sorin Năsturel in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
