In the 6th minute, Toader Apăvăloaie made a precise shot to the right of Hamílton Simão. Futbol Club RRFV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Kauã Lira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin. Ovidiu Bojin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Manole Crașovan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamílton Simão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 25th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rădvan to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match, Kauã Lira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidiu Bojin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Baptista to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Manole Crașovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Bojin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauã Lira. 37 minutes into the game, Mihail Soneriu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Champions Iasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Club RRFV the free kick. Hamílton Simão didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Champions Iasi's Manole Crașovan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After the first half Champions Iasi were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauã Lira made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Hamílton Simão was a little too slow when Manole Crașovan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-4. Ovidiu Bojin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiaguinho Lucas went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Crașovan got free with Hamílton Simão in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Pascu. Ovidiu Bojin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Sorin Năsturel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futbol Club RRFV's Hamílton Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Champions Iasi's Mădălin Pascu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hamílton Simão but with some difficulty. Toader Apăvăloaie hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With 85 minutes on the clock, Mădălin Pascu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Mădălin Pascu got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ovidiu Bojin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 93 minutes, Sorin Năsturel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Champions Iasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Năsturel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Zé Paulo Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Bojin. Champions Iasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Champions Iasi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
