After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Zack Zyanchurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquadrão Lusitano's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Zyanchurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zlatin Baldev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zack Zyanchurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zlatin Baldev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zack Zyanchurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zlatin Baldev was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabino Carrasqueira during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Velcho Botzov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ivan Trindade to make any attempt to save it. In the 24thth minute of the game Nelio Bombardeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botev Plovdiv 1912's Zlatin Baldev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasil Shterionov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Zack Zyanchurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zlatin Baldev having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelio Bombardeiro in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zlatin Baldev saved Botev Plovdiv 1912 from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Stoycho Shenkov got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Zyanchurin in the 29th minute of play forced Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Zlatin Baldev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Esquadrão Lusitano were awarded a corner. Olívio Durães went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Ivan Trindade successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zlatin Baldev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Zyanchurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Esquadrão Lusitano's Nelio Bombardeiro in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matias Estrada hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zack Zyanchurin in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zlatin Baldev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelio Bombardeiro got free with Zlatin Baldev in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Velcho Botzov got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doychin Penelov kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zack Zyanchurin in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zlatin Baldev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Petko Lyubchenkov. 81 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Zlatin Baldev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelio Bombardeiro. Nelio Bombardeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zlatin Baldev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Botev Plovdiv 1912 had won after a very even match.
