Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Matheus Savioli made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Xavier in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Vieira saved Casa Real de Savóia F.C. from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Vladimir Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Matías Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Xavier in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Durvalino Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durvalino Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund MZB booed when Casa Real de Savóia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Xavier in the 94th minute of play forced Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper Matías Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
