Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelsinho Mendes started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SRP-Laguna's Alex Sarmento got a free kick in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastián Duarte during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Urutu F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Rubens Brasil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SRP-Laguna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urutu F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Urutu F.C. booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Galão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Chiquinho Chaves hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Hector Jacaré ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nuno Azevedo had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Hector Jacaré's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Urutu F.C.'s Rodrigo Galão got control of the ball when Chiquinho Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Cruz to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Jacaré to make the kick off. Hector Jacaré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nuno Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubens Brasil took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Galão. Rodrigo Galão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Urutu F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Matta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Cruz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Rubens Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Donato Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When SRP-Laguna's Chiquinho Chaves in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urutu F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Donato Arantes hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Hector Jacaré sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. Alex Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Galão having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Hernani Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
