The referee ignored Sporting Tuga FC's protests and gave Alberto Figueira a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Figueira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Sebastian Angvik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olav Nydal during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olav Nydal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. KEZ Toppfotball's Sebastian Angvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Valente in the 22nd minute of play. Sebastian Angvik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Valente in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Sporting Tuga FC's Heitor Carvalhais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Angvik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Enzo Chagas hit a great ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Moisés Valentim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Paulo Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Angvik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Øyvind Bjerkan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KEZ Toppfotball's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, KEZ Toppfotball's Gjermund Kårstad seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gjermund Kårstad the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KEZ Toppfotball protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gjermund Kårstad had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd match minute, KEZ Toppfotball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Bjerkan to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Olav Nydal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Sporting Tuga FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sebastian Angvik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Valente's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When António Azeredo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sporting Tuga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Azeredo couldn't finish the play. Moisés Valentim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olav Nydal, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Sporting Tuga FC defense, Olav Nydal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés Valentim. The Sporting Tuga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Valentim should have stopped the shot. Olav Nydal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Moisés Valentim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Frode Todnem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KEZ Toppfotball and the Sporting Tuga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's António Azeredo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bjørnar Bach charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sebastian Angvik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Sporting Tuga FC played a much better game than KEZ Toppfotball and deserved their victory. The KEZ Toppfotball players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
