Donovan Hewitt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.D. Bajen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The referee gave OROTINENSE a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonny Rosales, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.D. Bajen's Ramiro Lowery. 0-1. After 12 minutes of play, OROTINENSE's Alex Santamaria made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Lowery was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tito Cespedes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Ulises Villegas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Ramirez came free, but Ramiro Lowery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Lowery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Orozco, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Chamberlain. After recieving a nice pass, S.D. Bajen's Devin Madison tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tito Cespedes charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tito Cespedes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tito Cespedes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ramiro Lowery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buenaventura Paniagua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodolfo Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.D. Bajen's Ramiro Lowery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Santamaria in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's Alex Santamaria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Lowery narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Patrick to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Val Farrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Montealegre's late challenge caught a S.D. Bajen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Montealegre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Salvador Montealegre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Buenaventura Paniagua came free, but Ramiro Lowery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Buenaventura Paniagua made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ernesto Barrantes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ramiro Lowery. The goal made the score 0-3. Alex Santamaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ramiro Lowery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th play minute Buenaventura Paniagua came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ramiro Lowery. 0-4. Val Farrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Barrantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Lowery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jason Ramirez got free with Ramiro Lowery in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Val Farrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Alex Santamaria got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Ramiro Lowery managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when OROTINENSE's Alex Santamaria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 79 minutes into the game, Alex Santamaria lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Ramiro Lowery. 86 minutes into the game, Brickeen Wall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Ulises Villegas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Barrantes came free, but Ramiro Lowery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Santamaria got free with Ramiro Lowery in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
