After 4 minutes, Eugeniusz Kochanowicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia Łaziska and the Real Guayaquil.F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erwin Salcines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Remigiusz Pisarczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Dannes Asuaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonia Łaziska's Remigiusz Pisarczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remigiusz Pisarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Salcines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugeniusz Kochanowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zoil Frenes came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugeniusz Kochanowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Erwin Salcines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Salcines in the 25th minute of play forced Polonia Łaziska's goalkeeper Remigiusz Pisarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Waldemar Banas fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polonia Łaziska's protests and gave Waldemar Banas a yellow card for diving instead. Waldemar Banas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Polonia Łaziska's goal looked a bit too open when Dannes Asuaga came free, but Remigiusz Pisarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gwidon Olchowy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigiusz Pisarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Salcines, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Polonia Łaziska's Eugeniusz Kochanowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mendoza Vinuesa in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigiusz Pisarczyk saved Polonia Łaziska from getting behind. Remigiusz Pisarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dannes Asuaga in the 45th minute of the match.

Dannes Asuaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Polonia Łaziska booed when Real Guayaquil.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mendoza Vinuesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erwin Salcines fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s protests and gave Erwin Salcines a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Santiago Zabarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urrutia Iruretagoyena charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urrutia Iruretagoyena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real Guayaquil.F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Urrutia Iruretagoyena hit a great ball. Polonia Łaziska's Remigiusz Pisarczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Polonia Łaziska from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute Dannes Asuaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Pisarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Polonia Łaziska getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mateusz Fink hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Erwin Salcines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigiusz Pisarczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 93rd minute of the match, Erwin Salcines got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remigiusz Pisarczyk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Polonia Łaziska's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
