The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of ÇORUM FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club 23:s goal. Ferdinand Zegreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Umut İnceman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narcis Purcaru during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narcis Purcaru hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ÇORUM FK's zone, Ferdinand Zegreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umut İnceman came out of the goal and Ferdinand Zegreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Bociort made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zafer Benlioğlu in the 21st minute. If Ferdinand Zegreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feyzullay Şahbazoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Bociort having to make a save. In the 34th match minute, ÇORUM FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Cumhur Altun to maneuver through the defense. Fikri Sakman hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Nicodim Gugulanu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Umut İnceman. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Club 23's Narcis Purcaru got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Narcis Purcaru off the ground.
