Ethan Mitchell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Nicodim Gugulanu made a precise shot to the right of Ethan Mitchell. Real Chelsea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ethan Mitchell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosmin Mazăre went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ethan Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Căliman in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Cosmin Mazăre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosmin Mazăre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Real Chelsea booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Purcaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Real Chelsea defense, Nicodim Gugulanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ethan Mitchell. The Real Chelsea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ethan Mitchell should have stopped the shot. Constantin Stelian kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Nicodim Gugulanu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ethan Mitchell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club 23. Ethan Mitchell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicodim Gugulanu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Cosmin Mazăre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Boyce came free, but Damian Bociort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicodim Gugulanu to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Chelsea's zone, Gigel Căliman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Mitchell came out of the goal and Gigel Căliman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Mikael Forsell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Bociort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristram Boyce's late challenge caught a Club 23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristram Boyce helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Chelsea's Tristram Boyce got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Ethan Mitchell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicodim Gugulanu. Marcus Allwright's late challenge caught a Club 23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Allwright helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Allwright. After recieving a nice pass, Club 23's Cristinel Crainic tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Căliman to maneuver through the defense. If Nicodim Gugulanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Real Chelsea's Ethan Mitchell got control of the ball when Nicodim Gugulanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mikael Forsell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Forsell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Bociort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90th play minutes Nicodim Gugulanu shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Ethan Mitchell and just under the crossbar into goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club 23 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
