The supporters of Real Guayaquil.F.C. booed when FC Vershina ESPN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Pavlenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, FC Vershina ESPN's goal looked a bit too open when Mendoza Vinuesa came free, but Ivan Lysytsjkyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Erwin Salcines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Lysytsjkyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Real Guayaquil.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mendoza Vinuesa to maneuver through the defense. Olexiy Bykaniv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Zoil Frenes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Salcines in the 20th minute of play forced FC Vershina ESPN's goalkeeper Ivan Lysytsjkyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urrutia Iruretagoyena hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Vershina ESPN booed when Real Guayaquil.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dannes Asuaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zoil Frenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoliy Mintenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Santiago Zabarte got a free kick in the 38th minute. The long shot by Anton Pavlenko in the 39th minute really tested Zoil Frenes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 41 played minutes Real Guayaquil.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mendoza Vinuesa. After 46 minutes, Santiago Zabarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Guayaquil.F.C. and the FC Vershina ESPN players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anatoliy Mintenko to strike the kick off in the second half. When Erwin Salcines fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s protests and gave Erwin Salcines a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Real Guayaquil.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Salcines to maneuver through the defense. If Anatoliy Mintenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erwin Salcines scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Lysytsjkyi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Mendoza Vinuesa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ivan Lysytsjkyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dannes Asuaga in the 70th minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Urrutia Iruretagoyena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Guayaquil.F.C. and the FC Vershina ESPN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anatoliy Mintenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Anatoliy Mintenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Zoil Frenes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Dannes Asuaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vershina ESPN the free kick. Erwin Salcines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoil Frenes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anatoliy Mintenko's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes, Olexiy Bykaniv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Vershina ESPN and the Real Guayaquil.F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Olexiy Bykaniv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Guayaquil.F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
