Franciszek Nieuzyla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Tomaszewski having to interfere. In the 9th minute Wit Zjawin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Pyrtek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Bierfass scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Tomaszewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GORNIK PIASKI:s Ryszard Pyrtek showed great skill when he stopped Wawrzyniec Olszewski:s penalty. In the 16th minute, Wawrzyniec Olszewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarnów™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Jaroszewicz in the 21st minute of play forced Tarnów™'s goalkeeper Leonard Tomaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Jaroszewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Wit Zjawin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GORNIK PIASKI's Ryszard Pyrtek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Ryszard Pyrtek throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wit Zjawin in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 31st minute, Tarnów™'s Damian Solak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Zjawin in the 39th minute of play forced GORNIK PIASKI's goalkeeper Ryszard Pyrtek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Olszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wawrzyniec Olszewski charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wawrzyniec Olszewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wawrzyniec Olszewski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, GORNIK PIASKI's Witalis Rasialdo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonard Tomaszewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GORNIK PIASKI reached it. The supporters of GORNIK PIASKI booed when Tarnów™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Hyska didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witalis Rasialdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arkadiusz Jaroszewicz was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Damian Solak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarnów™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Solak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franciszek Nieuzyla during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franciszek Nieuzyla hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wit Zjawin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Pyrtek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Tarnów™'s Wit Zjawin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ryszard Pyrtek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 69 minutes into the game, Lukasz Kosakowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarnów™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GORNIK PIASKI the free kick. A collision led to Tarnów™ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lukasz Kosakowski hit a great ball. Leonard Tomaszewski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Witalis Rasialdo. Arkadiusz Jaroszewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leonard Tomaszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Stefan Bierfass was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GORNIK PIASKI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarnów™ the free kick. After a rather tough play, GORNIK PIASKI's Stefan Bierfass got a free kick in the 79th minute. Witalis Rasialdo's late challenge caught a Tarnów™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witalis Rasialdo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Witalis Rasialdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GORNIK PIASKI's Ryszard Pyrtek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Zjawin in the 84th minute of play. Wit Zjawin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ryszard Pyrtek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarnów™. 89 minutes into the match, Tarnów™'s goalkeeper Leonard Tomaszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arkadiusz Jaroszewicz. GORNIK PIASKI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
