Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michaël Dubuis started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Thomas Lauridsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AB Tårnby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perthes United the free kick. Thomas Lauridsen hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Michaël Dubuis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Al Birkestrøm made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Billy Loy took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Al Birkestrøm to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute, Thomas Lauridsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michaël Dubuis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Al Birkestrøm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Perthes United's Billy Loy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Al Birkestrøm. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. After 40 played minutes Perthes United got a freekick which was hit by Léopold Quilichini. After 41 minutes of play AB Tårnby's Thomas Lauridsen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miki Eversholt to strike the kick off in the second half. Morten Hjulmand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miki Eversholt fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 55th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Claes Arnsig charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claes Arnsig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Al Birkestrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Courcelle in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Perthes United booed when AB Tårnby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Schouenborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Al Birkestrøm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Loy in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Alf Schlippe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AB Tårnby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Schlippe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steve Vauchel's late challenge caught a AB Tårnby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steve Vauchel helped the player get up and apologised. 89 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goalkeeper Moïse Mouton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miki Eversholt. Samir Mazaud hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Harry Vieira made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Merlin Roch immediately put the ball in play. There was no doubt that Perthes United were the better team. Perthes United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
