Toni Kúndev kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goal looked a bit too open when Anani Barutchiyski came free, but Valentin Asserlindh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FF Små Gröna Män getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gustaf Waller hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Manchester United F.C.'s Tzvetan Dragoshinov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Asserlindh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. FF Små Gröna Män's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eddie Knutsson in the 29th minute. In the 46th minute, Velyo Harachev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Manchester United F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddie Knutsson was the one to do the kick off. Anani Barutchiyski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Lukas Malmström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FF Små Gröna Män's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United F.C. the free kick. After 56 played minutes FF Små Gröna Män got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Malmström. In the 57th minute, Anani Barutchiyski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddie Knutsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzanyo Zvúncharov having to interfere. Anani Barutchiyski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Valentin Asserlindh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Valentin Asserlindh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzvetan Dragoshinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Valentin Asserlindh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anani Barutchiyski. FF Små Gröna Män's Emanuel Nordström was substituted for Brian Söderqwist. After 71 minutes FF Små Gröna Män's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evrosi Troshanov who took care of the corner kick. When Tzvetan Dragoshinov fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United F.C.'s protests and gave Tzvetan Dragoshinov a yellow card for diving instead. Tzvetan Dragoshinov hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes, Rangel Goranov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United F.C. and the FF Små Gröna Män players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Manchester United F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rangel Goranov hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Gabrielsson came free, but Tzanyo Zvúncharov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Gabrielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Manchester United F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
