Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) 3 minutes into the game, Macaco F.C.'s Thomás Pimenta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Pirmin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Atilano Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Pimenta in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Gualterio Niguel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Lopes. Macaco F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Niguel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 14 minutes, Eusébio de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaco F.C. and the Deportivo Medievales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atilano Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Valentin Benitez notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Macaco F.C.'s Felipe Lopes. Felipe Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gualterio Niguel came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Deportivo Medievales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Niguel couldn't finish the play. Macaco F.C.'s Felipe Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Benitez in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Valentin Benitez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Medievales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Atilano Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Pimenta in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Valentin Benitez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Gualterio Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Negri to make the kick off. With 59 minutes on the clock, Eusébio de Toledo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Macaco F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Medievales:s goal. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Medievales. Gualterio Niguel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Lopes. 5-1. After 65 minutes of play, Macaco F.C.'s Geovanni Pinho made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Pirmin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Bernard during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Medievales getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Atilano Bernard hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Geovanni Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macaco F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Medievales the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when Macaco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Benitez in the 71st minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Felipe Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Benitez took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Lopes. Felipe Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Cristóvão Leme got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Deportivo Medievales's Valentin Benitez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Niguel in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Benitez came free, but Felipe Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Medievales's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
