An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Eckert in the 3rd minute of play forced Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Atilano Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocco Espinosa in the 10th minute of play. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurice Yoshioka in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Pascal Sheldon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Atilano Pirmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Field, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Sheldon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Lawrence Eckert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilano Pirmin. Deportivo Medievales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lawrence Eckert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 21st minute, Jose Field ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Pirmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Medievales's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Field came free, but Atilano Pirmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deportivo Medievales fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute Jose Field shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Preston Esposito made a huge save. After 33 minutes, Jose Field mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO and the Deportivo Medievales players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Mosen during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Maurice Yoshioka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davis Stubbs to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Preston Esposito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Niguel. In the 44th match minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Sheldon to maneuver through the defense. Lawrence Eckert kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Valentin Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Preston Esposito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Field made a kick off. Jose Field could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Atilano Pirmin made a huge save. In the 65th minute Valentin Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Preston Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Eckert in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Deportivo Medievales's Atilano Pirmin got control of the ball when Jose Field tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rocco Espinosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Atilano Pirmin made a huge save. 80 minutes into the game, Deportivo Medievales's Atilano Bernard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Preston Esposito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Atilano Pirmin made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Jose Field sent off a good shot on target. Gualterio Niguel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Preston Esposito. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jose Field sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the game, Rocco Espinosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Atilano Pirmin. Rocco Espinosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
