Felipe Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vanko Korchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Glauco Negri hit a great ball. Felipe Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzvetan Dragoshinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Glauco Negri hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Felipe Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anani Barutchiyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Anani Barutchiyski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tzvetan Dragoshinov came free, but Felipe Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Macaco F.C. defense, Anani Barutchiyski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Lopes. The Macaco F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Lopes should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Evrosi Troshanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macaco F.C. the free kick. After 17 played minutes Manchester United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Evrosi Troshanov. After 21 minutes, Cristóvão Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaco F.C. and the Manchester United F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Leme hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio de Toledo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Eusébio de Toledo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Glauco Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Felipe Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raycho Chervenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Geovanni Pinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tzanyo Zvúncharov, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Cristian Negri made the kick off in the second half. Tzanyo Zvúncharov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Pinho in the 51st minute of play. When Raycho Chervenski fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United F.C.'s protests and gave Raycho Chervenski a yellow card for diving instead. Raycho Chervenski kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cristian Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Thomás Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Vanko Korchev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Lopes. That made the score 1-3 in the 67 minute of play. Fábio Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzanyo Zvúncharov having to interfere. Felipe Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vanko Korchev in the 77th minute of play. When Thomás Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Macaco F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Pimenta couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, one of Manchester United F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristóvão Leme was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 95 played minutes Macaco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Leme. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manchester United F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
