The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vanko Korchev in the 3rd minute of play forced Desafio FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Desafio FC's protests and gave David Nicholas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Desafio FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. In the 25thth minute of the game Anani Barutchiyski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desafio FC's Marcelo Petri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Filomeno Mazuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzvetan Dragoshinov in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Tzvetan Dragoshinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes Manchester United F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurelio Lordi who took care of the corner kick. Aurelio Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzanyo Zvúncharov having to interfere. Marcelo Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetan Dragoshinov in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Tzoko Neshkov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Petri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tzvetan Dragoshinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Manchester United F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Raycho Chervenski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Evrosi Troshanov got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tzanyo Zvúncharov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Mazuste's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Tzvetan Dragoshinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Desafio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Obeko to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes, Filomeno Mazuste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desafio FC and the Manchester United F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filomeno Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Anani Barutchiyski charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anani Barutchiyski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Anani Barutchiyski got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Filomeno Mazuste left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desafio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Aurelio Lordi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tzanyo Zvúncharov. Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Higinio Obeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tzanyo Zvúncharov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Manchester United F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
