Jorge Mark in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Petri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Desafio FC's Marcelo Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mark in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Desafio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Hernando to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Obeko in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Filipo saved Mi querida Fabiola from getting behind. Fabio Filipo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Desafio FC's Higinio Obeko. But to his dismay, Higinio Obeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Higinio Obeko put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Filipo. 37 minutes into the game, one of Desafio FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 43 minutes into the match, Desafio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Eufemio came free, but Marcelo Petri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Desafio FC's Aurelio Lordi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Filipo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

If Aurelio Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Desafio FC's Filomeno Mazuste slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabio Filipo. That made the score 1-4 after 60 minutes of play. Marcelo Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desafio FC's Marcelo Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Eufemio in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Desafio FC defense, Evelio Mikelar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Petri. The Desafio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Petri should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Mazuste's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabio Filipo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77th minute of the match Desafio FC got a corner. Mi querida Fabiola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isaac Unax ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mi querida Fabiola's goalie and right to Ildefonso Montez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mi querida Fabiola's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fabio Filipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Lordi went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes, Higinio Obeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desafio FC and the Mi querida Fabiola players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Desafio FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Higinio Obeko hit a great ball. The supporters of Desafio FC booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
