Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) DINAMO's Șerban Damian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Eugen Bobocea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Higinio Obeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desafio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Obeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Greblă's late challenge caught a Desafio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Greblă helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's David Greblă got a free kick in the 16th minute. Marcelo Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Damian in the 26th minute of the match. DINAMO were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Desafio FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adam Rednic took the corner. After taking down the ball on DINAMO's corner Adam Rednic fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Petri quite easily take care of the ball. Șerban Damian kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Șerban Damians short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Marcelo Petri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, David Greblă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Petri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Desafio FC's Higinio Obeko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Hurmuzache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Petri acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Remus Elisei. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Obeko to strike the kick off in the second half. Higinio Obeko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Horea Hurmuzache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Adam Rednic managed to get in a good position for a shot. DINAMO's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Rednic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Petri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Șerban Damian hit a great ball. David Greblă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Petri having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Remus Elisei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desafio FC the free kick. In the 70th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Elisei to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes, Higinio Obeko made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Petri came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Adam Rednic. But to his dismay, Adam Rednic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 81st minute, Wilfredo Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Șerban Damian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, DINAMO could leave the field as winners, despite Desafio FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
