Brent Pritchard scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tzanyo Zvúncharov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Huben Madolev charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Huben Madolev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Huben Madolev hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Jose Field got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Manchester United F.C.'s Stoyadin Tzapov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Preston Esposito. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. Anani Barutchiyski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Preston Esposito made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Brent Pritchard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United F.C. the free kick. Brent Pritchard kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Preston Esposito was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Evrosi Troshanov. In the 34th match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raycho Chervenski to maneuver through the defense. Manchester United F.C.'s Tzanyo Zvúncharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Pritchard in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzvetan Dragoshinov in the 36th minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Preston Esposito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rocco Espinosa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Brent Pritchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the game, Manchester United F.C.'s Anani Barutchiyski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Preston Esposito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When Brent Pritchard came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brent Pritchard couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Manchester United F.C. booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernon Lloyd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evrosi Troshanov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Preston Esposito. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tzvetan Dragoshinov scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Preston Esposito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 minutes, Darnell Elias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO and the Manchester United F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manchester United F.C. booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darnell Elias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Tzvetan Dragoshinov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzvetan Dragoshinov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Field's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tzanyo Zvúncharov firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jose Field received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tzanyo Zvúncharov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gancho Nenchov hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Maurice Yoshioka got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Field's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Tzanyo Zvúncharov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 85 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Anani Barutchiyski came free, but Preston Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes of play DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Brent Pritchard was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Preston Esposito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anani Barutchiyski in the 95th minute of play. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
