Henrique Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavol Repa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Jankech, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to FC DNV Bratiskava getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ladislav Zilka hit a great ball. After 10 minutes, Dimas Bravo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valadas and the FC DNV Bratiskava players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Dimas Bravo. Paulo Eiró fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matúš Krajíček having to interfere. Paulo Eiró recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Paulo Eiró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matúš Krajíček saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislav Zilka took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrique Freitas. Henrique Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Henrique Freitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomáš Dano went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC DNV Bratiskava's zone, Sílvio Azenha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matúš Krajíček came out of the goal and Sílvio Azenha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulo Eiró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Valadas's Paulo Eiró got a free kick in the 39th minute. Sílvio Azenha took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matúš Krajíček. Matúš Krajíček dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dušan Jankech hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Valadas's Sílvio Azenha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matúš Krajíček narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marek Kríž to strike the kick off in the second half. Nivaldo Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Nivaldo Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valadas's protests and gave Nivaldo Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Freitas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Azenha in the 64th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Matúš Krajíček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 64th minute of the match Ladislav Zilka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ladislav Zilka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 65th match minute, FC DNV Bratiskava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislav Zilka to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Azenha took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matúš Krajíček. Matúš Krajíček dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Jerónimo Álvares hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Valadas's Henrique Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavol Repa in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Pavol Repa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrique Freitas. Pavol Repa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. After some careless play in the FC DNV Bratiskava defense, Paulo Eiró kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matúš Krajíček. The FC DNV Bratiskava fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matúš Krajíček should have stopped the shot. Matúš Krajíček stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Eiró's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. A collision led to FC DNV Bratiskava getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pavol Repa hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Valadas's Sílvio Azenha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matúš Krajíček made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
