The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Nautilus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valadas:s goal. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Valadas's Rodrigo Casado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gil de Medeiros. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dimas Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimas Bravo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Bravo in the 13th minute of play. Marcelinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Sílvio Azenha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gil de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Rodrigo Casado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valadas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 23 minutes, Dimas Bravo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valadas and the Nautilus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Dimas Bravo. After 25 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Torcato Taborda. 27 minutes into the match, Nautilus's goalkeeper Gil de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Casado. Dimas Bravo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Nautilus from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Armindo Torres fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Rodrigo Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Casado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Marcelinho de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Freitas having to interfere. Gil de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Casado in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Rodrigo Casado made a precise shot to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Nautilus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 70thth minute of the game Rodrigo Casado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Valadas getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Torcato Taborda hit a great ball. Richard Ferreira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Sílvio Azenha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rodrigo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Rodrigo Casado put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Nivaldo Vieira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
