Braulio Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gaston Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Marcones having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Mel came free, but Gaston Marcones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Chago in the 13th minute of play forced DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Gaston Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, DON RAMON 72 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Mannie's late challenge caught a SAN MARTIN F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Mannie helped the player get up and apologised. Gaston Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Roland in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Enrique Quilo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximiliano Astudillo, 2-0. After 24 played minutes SAN MARTIN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Tiadoro. 28 minutes into the game, Faustino Mel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gaston Marcones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Chago in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Marcones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Tibalt in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Serafino Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. DON RAMON 72's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Tibalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute of the match Faustino Mel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Marcones showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Roland made a kick off. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Serafino Tibalt got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th match minute, DON RAMON 72 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. DON RAMON 72's Ezequiel Quiroga was substituted for Enrique Quilo. The supporters of SAN MARTIN F.C. booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Tibalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Braulio Chago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Marcones. Braulio Chago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Braulio Chago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gaston Marcones made a huge save. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bastia, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Quiroga in the 71st minute of play forced SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bastia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gaston Marcones made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Braulio Chago sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Chago came free, but Gaston Marcones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of DON RAMON 72 booed when SAN MARTIN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Roland took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Marcones. Gaston Marcones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Gaston Marcones was a little too slow when Braulio Chago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-4. Gaston Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Roland in the 97th minute of the match. The DON RAMON 72 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SAN MARTIN F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for SAN MARTIN F.C..
